I use to come to this place with my Cousin Jack to get the menudo right when they opened i brang my own big pot and they would fill it for.us.
I've been passing by Bills Take Out on Broadway for a while and wanted to give it a try for lunch. I went at 11:55 on a Tuesday and there was a small line. It's an classic oldies looking joint with walk up window ordering and seating outside. They do have a wide range of items on their menu too. The girl at the window was nice and the wait for my food was about 8-12 minutes with several people in front of me. I got the #6 Billy Burger Combo with a Cherry Pepsi(Coke)? and a deep fried burrito. Billy Burger and fries - 4 Star - This burger is small, it came with onions and a thousand island type sauce. I took off the pickles. Even for the size it was a solid burger seasoned and cooked well overall. The fries are large, thick cut and they are generous with the fry portions . Fried Burrito - 5 Star - This hit the spot for me. It reminds me of the frozen Tinas Red Hot you get from the store but about 10x better, a bit bigger, and fried crispy. Be sure to ask for the Del Sol(?) hot sauce in the yellow packet since they don't have it out front. I spent $13.00 which I thought was a good deal for the amount of food.
Childhood fave and still one of the spots now as an adult! Billy burgers, deep fried burritos, shredded beef tacos and salsa, French fries, the drinks, dipped cones. The list of their top faves kinda just doesn't stop lol
It was my first time here. We ordered a Billy burger and fries. It was the best we've had in a very long time. We will be back!

Nice to have this place back! Service was fast since there was only 2 other parties waiting for their food. Only outdoor sitting. We went in for lots of Billy Burgers, shakes, fries and burritos! Next time we will get bigger burgers since the patties are so thin for our liking! First time coming back since they reopened, but will be back to try other items. Tuesday special! There will be tri tip sandwhich coming soon!
Customer service is great the cheeseburger with everything is good love the thousand island sauce on it their burritos are good. My favorite are the small cones tasty ice cream and perfect size if you don't want too much ice cream.
